Rarely enough I discover metal, which is unusual for me. RYUJINBAND is such a precious find. Wild melodic death metal plus power metal, folk instruments and strong Japanese influences results in a thrilling combination, like a Nippon version of Children of Bodom. Some songs are rather fast and wild ("Dragon, Fly Free"), others are catchy and anthemic ("Saigo No Hoshi"). A fascinating album which spreads positive vibes and brings me in good mood! H.L.
